Story
On 28th August 2010 Fiona Rintoul and support team (aka boyfriend Peter) set out to cycle the 150-mile length of the Outer Hebrides from Castlebay on Barra to the Butt of Lewis. The ride was completed in three and a half days (despite Peter having to go back to Barra to retrieve a left-behind rucksack), and the weather was exceptionally kind. Which was just as well, as having got to the Butt, the weary cyclists realised there was another 50-odd miles to complete to get to Stornoway and the ferry home...
