I will miss Maureen enormously. She has been a colleague and a friend for many years, first at Glaxo, then GalbraithWight. Above all, she was a person of great integrity, and she did whatever she did to the best of her ability. She always had a quirky viewpoint and found the humour in any situation. And she definitely did not take herself too seriously. I shall miss her almond eyes and twinkle - and the impeccable nails to which I can only aspire. I am sending a cheque for £100 directly to the fund at Christie, as my Charities Aid Foundation chequebook does not seem to connect with the payment mechanism here. Thinking of all who loved her, and wishing them comfort in their loss.
